The waltz of the flowers.,.

The waltz of the flower…

A Poem by Coyote Poetry
" What do we remember. We remember first kisses, we remember our first waltz with someone we loved and the beautiful days with the sun above us.”

         The waltz of the flowers….

“He prayeth best, who loveth best.
All things both great and small;
for the dear God who loveth us,
He made and loveth all.”
Samuel Taylor Coleridge….

The long Winter made us wish for dear April. The agony of the cold days, snow and icy days made us wish for sun-kissed days and the earth turning green again.

The flowers are reaching out to the sky, the Spring rain is bringing life to sleeping soil. My grandchildren want to play baseball and basketball. They are tire of jackets and too much clothing. They want to run and explore.

The brave flowers are already dancing for me. They are waltzing with the gentle wind and loving the caress of the sun upon them.

I have planted my wild flowers and I have cleaned-up the garden. I will sit in my moving lawn chair with my grand-daughter. I will pray to the Gods of nature. Thank you for the days of Spring.
