The valley of the gun…
1- Is death sweet? Do we go easily into the final sleep? Without struggle. Do the dead cities talk? They do. They are killing women and children in Ukraine. When the beast of hate, when the beast of greed murdered men and women. Do the soldiers care? Children, who saw war. Children, who survived war. They are not children no-more.
2- The war children, the child of war. Who will teach them to feel safe again? Us, who are far away from war. What can we do? I am angry. Russian slowly destroying a great country and we are killing the children in the USA. Over 220 mass killings in the USA in 2022 and the war in Ukraine. Create homeless people and dead cities. When shall we learn? No-one win in war. The children pay for our sin for us, not seeking peace.
3- I am old now. I am singing the parting glass nightly alone. My whiskey and my water make my mind work. I have five grandchildren and I fear for their future. My father’s generation had the Vietnam war and Korea war. I had my many war too and I tell my Irish whiskey. What have we done? I leave a prayer.

The valley of the gun, we live in. I was a soldier and today. The valley of the gun is in Ukraine and in the USA. NRA don’t care about the dead. No money in dead people. The wealthy men don’t care about the common people and they bought our leaders. The United Nation must stop this war in Ukraine and the USA must protect the children, the old people and all people. No-one needs a automatic weapon. We have enough weapons of war already.
