red roses, steeped in blood
why do you continue to yearn for its thorns?
–
yearn for the impossibilities
duly fairness
–
the petals in evil handcuffs
turning continuously in the wheel of time
–
you claimed: I’ll save a little money
for a trip away in the fall
–
you claimed as much
since you’ve changed your life
by never allowing the leaves to settle
–
tonight
I’m with my ghosts
hypnotized
by their voices
their madness
–
all that I need is death
for the scattering memories
–
startled by
shuddering
ghosts
–
they’re bent over with pain
as I’m suspended
in between a poem and my regrets
like a cloud
–
a cloud
turning into a question mark
–
turning off the light
everyone including you
the voices, ghosts
